- Chadarius Townsend accounted for more than 2,700 yards passing and rushing for Tanner this season.
Tanner has had some explosive offenses recently, including in 2012 and 2012 when the team won back state championships. This team stacks up fairly close with those teams and while they only averaged 40.3 points per game, the Rattlers played five teams that advanced to the second round or farther in Class 2A-5A.
West Limestone faced an equally tough schedule and improved their points per game by nearly a touchdown from a year ago. Tanner and West had dominate offenses this season and are represented accordingly on the All-County Offense with a combined seven selections.
