A Madison man jailed in March for first-degree human trafficking and distribution of a controlled substance is now also facing additional charges of production of pornography with minors and possession of child pornography, records show.

Dhalquistiere Delamere Eichelberger Jr., 28, of 24743 Makani Lane, was initially arrested March 29 for trying to recruit a minor for sex work. He remains in the Limestone County Jail with bail set at $63,500 on the charges. The additional charges were added April 5 through warrants served by Limestone County Sheriff’s Investigator Jamie King.

Limestone County Sheriff’s Investigator Kristin King took a report March 25 about the sexual assault of a juvenile. Deputy Stephen Young, public information officer for the Sheriff’s Office, said King consulted with the Narcotics Unit about the case because the victim had mentioned the 28-year-old “tried to recruit him/her for prostitution.”

Young said an interview with the juvenile was scheduled with the Child Advocacy Center, during which the child said Eichelberger Jr. had given them marijuana and discussed the child becoming a prostitute.

“On Friday, the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at a residence on North Clinton Street where Eichelberger Jr. lives,” Young said. “Investigators located almost an ounce of marijuana and recovered several electronic devices.”
