• Swamp John’s fundraiser. Drive-in Swamp John’s will be at the Big Lots parking lot from 4-7 p.m. today. Plates are $12 each and are a choice of fish, chicken or shrimp with fries, slaw, hushpuppies and tea. Proceeds go to Lighthouse Apostolic Pentecostal Church fund. • In person worship. Starting July 12, First Baptist Church of Athens will have in person worship services at 8:30 and 10 a.m. The church will continue showing services online.
