ALBERTVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Neither foul play nor suicide is suspected in the carbon monoxide poisoning deaths of two Alabama men, whose bodies were found in a vehicle in Albertville.

Marshall County Deputy Coroner Martin Killion tells local media outlets the bodies of 23-year-old Colby Lang and 22-year-old Shelton Box were sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science Tuesday to rule out any other possible causes of death.

Killion says the vehicle was located adjacent to Lang’s home on Rose Road.

He says authorities suspect an exhaust leak sent carbon monoxide gas into the vehicle.

Police say the grandparents of one of the two became concerned when they had not heard from him in a few days.

Authorities believe the bodies have been there since late Friday night or early Saturday morning.
