Reba Eldean Fry, 87, of Athens passed away quietly in her sleep on Friday, March 11, 2016, at home. She was the daughter of Harry F. and Evie Morris of the Lentzville Community.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 13 at the Spry Funeral Home chapel with Randy Stevens and Kenny Baskins officiating. Burial will be in Athens City Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Saturday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fry was born April 11, 1928, in the Lentzville community. She was a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church in Athens. She was known for her generous heart and concern for other people.
Survivors include her sons, James H. Fry and wife Vicky of Gulf Shores, William David Fry and wife Melanie Moore Fry of Athens; daughters, Belinda Ann Lansford and husband Steve of Athens, Frances Susan Journey and husband Ray of Athens, Martha Angela Adams and husband Tim of Florence; brother, James H. “Buck” Morris of Florence; grandchildren, Beth Reed of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Amy Springer of Guntersville, Melissa Kulmer of Huntsville, Dustin Lansford, Erin Fry, Sara Lansford, and John Springer, all of Athens, Savannah Fry of Decatur, and Gracie Adams of Florence; great-grandchildren, Alex, Will, Tucker and Hughston; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry F. and Evie Morris; husband, Floyd M. Fry Jr.; and brother, Bobby Morris.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Lansford, John Springer, Ray Journey, Steve Lansford, Tim Adams and Wayne Morris.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County.
