A group of fourth- and fifth-graders enrolled in the 21st Century Community Learning program at Sugar Creek Elementary School take a rest Tuesday after kayaking on Wheeler Lake. The program, administered at four Limestone County schools, partners with several community organizations, including the Alabama Cooperative Extension System. The students were joined by ACES officials, including Limestone’s Extension coordinator, Chris Becker, and Chloe Wilson, 4-H Extension agent.
