County arrests

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Pablo Valero Magos, 43, of 26390 U.S. 72, Athens, third-degree domestic violence – harassment

• Anthony Albert Scroggins, 44, of 18384 Oakdale Road, Lot D, Athens, third-degree domestic violence – harassment, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia – first offense

• Kadarius James Woods, 23, of 3814 West Wind Creek, Huntsville, first-degree possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence

County thefts

The Limestone County Sheriff’s Office reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• ATHENS — Assorted tools valued at $2,000 stolen between Jan. 24, 2018, and Jan. 1, unknown block U.S. 72

• ATHENS — Alabama car tag valued at $26 stolen Jan. 9, 26000 block U.S. 72

• ATHENS — Mucinex medication, Peak motor oil, socks and tape, total $25, stolen Jan. 14, 14000 block U.S. 72

• ELKMONT — Medications valued at $5 stolen between Jan. 8 and 10, 24000 block Bethel Road

• ARDMORE — Checks and driver’s license, total $2, stolen during burglary Jan. 14, 27000 block Sterling Road

City arrests

The Athens Police Department reported the following arrests Tuesday:

• Bethany J. Carver, 26, of 2909 Lee Dales Ave., Decatur, probation revocation

• Jeremy Lee Tucker, 24, of 23626 Upper Fort Hampton Road, Elkmont, first-degree theft of property and giving false identification to law enforcement officer

• Carlton Tyrone Clay, 47, of 407 S. Hine St., Athens, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana

City thefts

The Athens Police Department reported the following thefts Tuesday:

• Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus smartphone valued at $1,000 stolen Jan. 14, 700 block Market Street

• Assorted merchandise valued at $140.14 stolen Jan. 15, Walmart at 1011 U.S. 72 East
