A Limestone County man is facing drug charges because authorities say he received 4 pounds of marijuana through the mail, according to a release.

Micah Gene Mullins, 36, of 25211 Wooley Springs Road, Athens, has been charged with felony drug trafficking.

Officers from the Alabama Drug Enforcement Task Force and narcotics investigators from the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant Thursday at Mullins’ residence. The release said officers had learned marijuana was shipped to the residence through the mail. During the search, the box containing the marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found.

No bond had been set for Mullins as of Friday afternoon.
