Complaints from residents in the Salem community led to three narcotics-related arrests.

Investigators with the Limestone County Sheriff’s Department made the arrests Thursday after complaints led to one of the suspects, according to Public Information Officer Stephen Young.

Devin Tyler Widner, 23, of 28175 Aunt Ann Hill Road in Lester has been charged with drug trafficking, concealed carry without a permit and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Limestone County Jail on an $11,750 bond.

Anthony Wayne Tucker, 47, of 141 County Road 504 in Lexington has been charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm with altered serial number and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held in the Limestone County Jail on a $13,500 bond.

“Over the past couple of months, narcotics investigators have received several complaints from Salem community residents that Devin Widner has been selling narcotics throughout the community,” Young said in a press release. “On Thursday, investigators Jamie King and Anthony Bruno observed Widner driving a vehicle and stopped him at the Salem MAPCO.”

Young said after developing probable cause to search the vehicle, the investigators discovered 3 ounces of methamphetamine and a meth pipe inside. He said they also found a loaded handgun under the driver’s seat.

Young said investigators arrested Widner and obtained a search warrant for his residence on Aunt Ann Hill Road.

“When they executed the search warrant, they discovered Tucker and Lash,” Young said. “Tucker attempted to toss a case containing 9 grams of methamphetamine.”

Young said Tucker was detained and investigators found a loaded pistol in his front pocket which had the serial number removed. After investigators placed Tucker under arrest, they also found additional drug paraphernalia, body armor and a tear gas grenade in the residence, according to Young.
