UPDATE: Photos show damage in Ardmore area

Photos posted to social media by the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office show a wide range of damage in the Ardmore area after a possible tornado struck earlier this evening.

Damage to trees and structures is being reported in the areas of Alabama 251, Gatlin Road, Alabama 53, Mitchell Loop and Pinedale and Sweet Springs roads.

Damage photos are also being collected by WAFF-48, The News Courier’s Raycom News Network partner. Photos are also being posted to WAFF’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
