3 arrested on meth trafficking charges

A search at an Athens home Monday night resulted in three arrests on charges of trafficking methamphetamine, Athens Police Chief Floyd Johnson said Tuesday.

Investigators with the Athens Police Department served the search warrant at 132 Christopher Circle sometime Monday night, Johnson said. Inside the home, they found 96.6 grams of methamphetamine, three guns and $400 in cash, he said.

Thirty-year-old Christopher Matthew Tennyson, 32-year-old Marcus Leo Kyle and 29-year-old Britney Michelle Black, all of 132 Christopher Circle, were each arrested on one count of trafficking methamphetamine, records show.

They were booked at the Police Department before being transferred to the Limestone County Jail. Bail has not yet been set.
