Name of man killed in Bethel, 251 wreck still pending

One man was killed and another person was injured in a two-vehicle crash in northeastern Limestone County Monday afternoon, officials said.
Limestone County Coroner Mike West said the man, whose name was withheld pending notification of relatives, died due to injuries suffered in the accident. State troopers were still working on notifying the man’s relatives at press time, a trooper said.

The wreck occurred near the intersection of Alabama 251 and Bethel Road about 2:44 p.m., the trooper said.
A person injured in the crash, whose name was not yet available from state troopers at press time, was flown by MedFlight helicopter to Huntsville Hospital, according to emergency radio dispatches. (The person’s condition is not available from the hospital until a name can be provided.)
Multiple fire departments and ambulance personnel responded to the scene of the wreck.
