Madison police and fire departments will hold an active-shooter drill Wednesday at Liberty Middle School.

The drill will be held from 8 a.m. to noon.

There will be a police and fire presence on the school campus, and the area will be restricted to authorized personnel during the exercise.

A NIXLE alert will be sent before the drill begins and again when it concludes.
