A crime so cold: 5 AC units stolen

Limestone County Sheriff’s Office is trying to determine who stole six air-conditioning units from a site in the 10,000 block of Upper Snake Road in western Limestone County.

The AC units, worth a total of $42,500, were stolen June 10 or 11.

The equipment included a Carrier 3-ton unit, two Rheem 5-ton units and three Rheem 7.5-ton units.
