MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — A man has died after falling off his kayak on Catoma Creek in Gunter Hill Park near Montgomery, Alabama.

Local news outlets report that 64-year-old Michael Williams of Alabaster had tipped over. The Marine Patrol Division says Williams was wearing a personal flotation device at the time, but was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday.

The incident is under investigation.
