The event center is at 114 W. Pryor St., Athens.
“The Chamber is looking forward to another great Home and Garden Show weekend,” said Jennifer Williamson, president of the chamber. “We invite everyone to come out and visit with our exhibitors from all over North Alabama.”
The show, presented by Robin Rents, will feature more than 50 exhibitors specializing in home improvement, decorating, gardening, landscaping, outdoor living and home efficiency. It will also feature free demonstrations on planting for privacy, container gardening, butterfly gardening and how to create distressed furniture.
While supplies last, Keep Athens-Limestone Beautiful will give away free crape myrtle, shumard oak, redbud, bald cypress, blackgum and river birch tree seedlings. For children, there will be a planting activity and a visit from Sparky, the KALB mascot.
A number of door prizes will be given away, including a $500 flight voucher from Huntsville International Airport. Attendees must be registered to win prizes.
Miss Alabama Hayley Barber will be at the show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
