The National Weather Service in Huntsville as issued a hazardous weather outlook ahead of strong-to-severe storms anticipated to impact the Tennessee Valley tonight.

Numerous showers and storms could impact Limestone County tonight as a cold front approaches from the west. Some storms could be severe over northwest and north-central Alabama. The NWS gave no timeline for the storms, but said the primary threat would be over by early Thursday morning.

The primary threats will be wind gusts over 60 mph, brief tornadoes, heavy rainfall and small hail.
