Cyclist dies in two-vehicle wreck on US 31

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (AP) — Alabama state troopers say a 24-year-old man died in a motorcycle accident and a woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 31 in Baldwin County.

The wreck happened Saturday night just before 8 p.m., about 5 miles north of Bay Minette.

Troopers say Alan Shane Booker of Daphne was riding a motorcycle that crashed into a car driven by 53-year-old Rosa Davis of Century, Fla.

Troopers said Davis was injured and was transported to North Baldwin Hospital. Her condition was not immediately available.

The accident is under investigation.
