Jack Calmes Catlett Sr.

Graveside services for Jack Calmes Catlett Sr., 78, of Athens will be at 3 p.m. today at City Cemetery in Decatur with Jaina Anderson and David Palmer officiating. Roselawn Funeral Home in Decatur will be in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Catlett died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2008 in Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jacquelyn Andrew Catlett; daughter, Karen Catlett, Birmingham; two sons, Jack Calmes Catlett Jr., Birmingham and Cdr. Neil Andrew Catlett, retired USN and wife Sarah, Suffolk, Va.; four grandchildren, James Calmes Catlett, Birmingham, Frank Eads Catlett and wife Mindy, Athens, Neil Andrew Catlett Jr., Suffolk, Va., Kathryn Michelle Catlett, Suffolk, Va.; brother, Robert Eads Catlett Jr., Roanoke, Va.; sister, Mary Ann Catlett Smith, Decatur.

He was a graduate of Decatur High School and served in the U.S. Naval Academy. He served in the military for five years. He was retired from Texas Instruments.
