Paul Bryant Crabtree

The funeral for Paul Bryant Crabtree, 26, of Decatur and formerly of Athens, will be at 1 p.m. today at McConnell Funeral Home with Keith Hodges officiating. Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Crabtree died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, in Huntsville Hospital.

He was born Nov. 21, 1981, in Decatur and was a member of Lebanon Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Lora Crabtree of Athens; three daughters, Bailee Appleton of Elkmont, and Alex Crabtree and Anna Crabtree, both of Athens; one son, Elijah Crabtree of Athens; his mother, Christa Crabtree of Decatur; two sisters, Melanie White of Arab and Emily Crabtree of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Crabtree; his grandparents, James and Anna Cox, and Betty Shaw and Harold Crabtree; and one uncle, Joey Crabtree.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Wilbourn, Justin Varnes, Shaun Morris, Jason Conn, Steven Clanton and Larry Sneath.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kurt Bentley and Johnny Conn.
