Jason Scott Andersen
The funeral for Jason Scott Andersen, 27, of Altoona, Pa., will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Donald Terry officiating. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Andersen died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2006, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Marjorie Gray
A graveside service for Marjorie Gray, 82, of Athens, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Roselawn Cemetery with Malcolm Andrews officiating. Spry Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Gray died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Athens Convalescent Center.
She was born Sept. 16, 1924, in Giles County, Tenn. She was a member of Jackson Drive Church of Christ and retired from the City of Athens Utilities Department.
She is survived by one son Steve Gray of Florence; one sister, Marie Newby of Texas; one grandson, Roy L. Gray of Helena; and great-grandchildren, Claire and Luke Gray of Helena.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy F. Gray and one grandson, Edward Gray.
Dorothy Peterson
Dorothy Mae Peterson, 80, of Athens, passed away at Huntsville Hospital Oct. 18, 2006. She was born in Oak Lawn, Ill., and met her husband of 60 years while living in Wisconsin. After they were married they eventually settled in Chicago where Dorothy worked at Cracker Jack for most of her life until retirement. They moved to Athens in 1985. While in retirement Dorothy enjoyed taking care of her numerous dogs and cats.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Peterson of Albion, Ill. She is survived by her husband Raymond Peterson of Athens; daughter, Carol Mulack of Athens; three grandchildren, Kevin Mulack of Athens, Kim Mulack of Birmingham, Brian Mulack of Athens and one great-grandchild, Marie Elizabeth Mulack.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be sent to the American Leukemia Society.
Memorial services will be held at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home today. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. A service will be held at 2 p.m. The Rev. Rob Phraner will be officiating.
John H. Robinson
The funeral for John H. Robinson, 78, of Athens, will be at 11 a.m. today at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. A. Ray Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson died Thursday, Oct. 19, 2006, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
She was retired from R.C.A. Corporation in Marion, Ind., and a native of Limestone County.
He is survived by his wife Judy Glass Robinson of Athens; one son, Greg Robinson and wife Karen of Rochester, Ind.; one granddaughter, Jennifer Robinson of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, James Aaron Robinson and wife Gladys of Heber Springs, Ark., Alford Lee “Peno” Robinson and wife Helen of Athens; three sisters, Maxine Johnson and husband Andrew of Marion, Ind., Dean Pack and husband Malcom of Athens, Emma Jean Wilson and husband Harry of Marion, Ind., and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Yora Betty Jane Reese Robinson and a brother Winford Robinson.
Pallbearers will be Glen Kennemer, Marshall Spaites, Dewayne Brunson, Robbie Brunson, Jimmy Robinson and Johnny Robinson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Stacy Lewis.
Memorial may be made to the Athens Limestone Kidney Association.
