A memorial service for William Alfred Romine, 76, of Tanner will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Athens Church of God with Terry Jackson officiating.

Mr. Romine died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital.

He was a member of Athens Church of God, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a retired USDA inspector.

He is survived by two daughters, Benita DeVaney of Tanner and Pamela Romine of Decatur; one daughter-in-law, Kathy Romine; one brother, Charles Romine of Athens; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
