Where: Central High School National Historic Site, 2120 W. Daisy L. Gaston Bates Drive, Little Rock, Ark.

Visiting: No fee is charged for entrance to the visitor center, which is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Parking is free.

Tours: Guided tours of the high school are available by reservation that must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Tours are scheduled at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on weekdays and generally last about an hour. Visitors without reservations are welcome to participate in scheduled tours not at capacity. Tours begin at the Park Service visitor center.
