Sisk to remain at Limestone County Schools

KEYSER, W.Va. — The Mineral County Board of Education on Wednesday selected Troy Ravenscroft as its next superintendent of schools.

Limestone County Schools Superintendent Tom Sisk was one of three other finalists for the job. The other two were Jason Eitner, proprietor of Eitner Education of New Jersey, and David Banks, assistant superintendent of Berkeley County Schools.

Ravenscroft will replace five-year Superintendent Shawn Dilly, who chose not to seek another contract when his current one ends June 30. Board members will meet Thursday to discuss Ravencroft’s contract, which would take effect July 1.

Ravenscroft is currently the assistant superintendent for Grant County Schools, and previously served as principal at Union School Complex in Mount Storm.
