Man charged with murder in connection with fatal Limestone crash

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday arrested a man in connection with a fatal crash in Huntsville-annexed Limestone County.

Reaford Buron Williams III, 29, of Danville, was taken into custody on a charge of murder. A press release from the Huntsville Police Department, which is conducting the investigation, said alcohol was involved in the March 20 crash that killed 19-year-old Troy Rashawn Howard of Harvest.

The release said Williams was driving his Dodge Ram westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 565 near County Line Road when he collided head-on with with Howard, who died Tuesday.

After his arrest, Williams was booked into the Limestone County Jail. Bond had not been set as of Friday.
