Huntsville’s Tinsel Trail now open
The 2018 Tinsel Trail, presented by Jerry Damson Automotive Group, is a display of live Christmas trees in downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park east.
About 300 decorated trees are available for public viewing through Jan. 5. Each tree on the trail is sponsored by a local corporation, group or family, and can be decorated by its sponsor or another organization designated by the sponsor.
Each Thursday and Friday during the event, patrons may also grab a cup of coffee from Arsenal Coffee Co., which will be parked near the Welcome to Huntsville mural on Spragins Street.
On Dec. 4, the 1-mile Tinsel Trot fun run begins at 5:30 p.m.
