The heat is on
Athens High School football players get a refreshing drink of water during practice on an extremely hot and humid Wednesday afternoon. The heat index on Wednesday reached 101 degrees. The 2017 season draws ever closer, with the first games in Limestone County only eight days away. Clements, Elkmont, Tanner and West Limestone begin their seasons Aug. 25 while the rest of the teams begin the following weekend.
