• Clothes giveaway. St. Mark P.B. Church will host a free clothing giveaway from 8 a.m.–noon today at 740 Sanderfer Road, Athens, in the church’s fellowship hall. This giveaway is open to all.

• After-school program. The after-school program from 3-5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at David’s Temple Church in Tanner accepts children ages 5-18. Homework assistants, tutoring and study hall are available. Van pickup is available to all Athens City Schools except Athens High. Children from Tanner High can ride the bus. • Men’s Day. Pleasant Grove CPCA Church will host its annual Men’s Day celebration at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 28, at 1539 Hastings Road, Athens. Guest speaker will be Corey Thomas of New Berea M.B. Church. Dinner will be served after service.
