Athens homeowner’s yard honored
The Limestone County Master Gardeners recently announced Ewell Smith received the group’s Yard of the Month recognition, according to a press release. Smith lives on Ole Carriage Drive in Athens. A sign was placed in his yard to denote the “recognition of an exemplary yard,” the release said. The Master Gardeners selected one yard per month from May through September.
