A single-vehicle crash involving an all-terrain vehicle that occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. Friday, June 7, has claimed the life of a Harvest man, according to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Jose N. Davila-Chavez, 30, was critically injured when the 2013 Polaris Sportsman ATV he was operating overturned. Davila-Chavez was thrown from the ATV and transported by helicopter to Huntsville Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

The crash occurred on Morgan Drive near Clovis Drive, approximately 12 miles east of Athens, in Limestone County. Nothing further is available as troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
