Raymond ‘Bubby’ Mclntear
The funeral for Raymond Ray “Bubby” Floyd Mclntear, 38, of Anderson, will be at 2 p.m. today at Rogersville Funeral Home with W.C. Byrd officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Mr. Mclntear died Friday, March 24, 2006, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Erica Michelle Mclntear; his fa-ther, Gene Mclntear: and a brother. Randy Adams.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Mcln-tear of Anderson; his mother, Mary Mclntear of St. Joseph. Tenn.; two sisters, Sherry Smith of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., and Gina Butler of Iron City, Tenn.; a brother, Bobby Mclntear of St. Joseph, Tenn.; his father-in-law, Larry Patterson of Andersen; his mother-in-law, Connie Patterson of Athens; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. The family would like to thank the Anderson Rescue Squad, Athens-Limestone Hospital, and St. Joseph Casket Company.
Edward ‘Bootie’ Mitchell
The funeral for Edward Leon “Bootie” Mitchell, 79, of Ardmore, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Bob Vaughn and K.C. “Pop” Poole officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Visitation wilt be from 5-9 tonight at the fu-neral home.
Mr. Mitchell died Friday, March 24, 2006, at his residence.
He was born Dec. 6, 1926, in Limestone County to Clarence Early Mitchell and Zelma Lula Morell Mitchell- He lived all his life in the Ardmore area. He was a volunteer fire-man and helped establish the Rapid Respon-ders in Ardmore. He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and of the water board. He was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Hasty Mitchell: and a brother, Harold Cecil Mitchell.
He is survived by three sons, Lonnie Dale Mitchell and wife Shirley of Ardmore; Harold Mitchell and wite Gloria Faye of Ardmore, and Marshall “Donnie” Mitchell and wife Phyllis of Athens; two daughters, Leonette Elkins and husband Larry of Ardmore, and Jeannie Roberson of Athens: two sisters, A.Z. Trusty of Watertown, Tenn., and Lynda Faye Perry of Erin, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren: and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be water board members and members of the volunteer fire depart-ment.
Dean Pack
The funeral for Dean Pack, 69, of Elkmont, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ardmore Memo-rial Funeral Home with Carl Witty and War-ren Glass officiating. Burial will be in Hasting Cemetery in Ardmore. Visitation will be from 5-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Pack died Saturday, March 25, 2006, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
