The News Courier will publish, free of charge, death notices including the name, age and city of residence of the deceased, date and place of death, and time and place of funeral services and visitation.

Family members now may express themselves in a eulogy, list survivors and give detailed biographical information about the deceased in a paid obituary. The News Courier will accept these paid items from the family, funeral directors, or other individuals. Paid obituaries may include a photo at no extra charge.

If a published obituary contains an error, The News Courier will reprint a corrected obituary at no charge, provided the error was ours. The News Courier does not issue refunds on obituary announcements.

Thomas Alonzo Blankenship

Thomas Alonzo Blankenship, 63, of Athens, died Friday, March 17, 2006, in Phoenix, Ariz. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Spry Funeral Home.



Joyce Ann Brownlow

The funeral for Joyce Ann Brownlow, 53, of Carrollton, Texas, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Charles Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Brownlow died Monday, March 20, 2006, in Dallas, Texas.

She was a native of Pulaski, Tenn., and worked in technical computer sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Louise Brownlow.

Ms. Brownlow is survived by three brothers, Don Brownlow of Huntsville, Joe Brownlow of Pulaski, Tenn., and John David Brownlow of Athens.



Janice Plemmons Fogle

The funeral for Janice Plemmons Fogle, 52, of Hazel Green, will be at noon Friday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Ernest Brown officiating. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery in Athens.

Visitation will be 6-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Fogle died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at home.



Terry Lynn Tribble

The funeral for Terry Lynn Tribble, 49, of Madison, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Madison Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Hilderbrand officiating. Visitation will be 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Tribble died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital.
