Madison arrests 8 on narcotics-related charges

Madison Police Street Crimes Unit arrested eight people Thursday following a narcotics investigation that netted heroin, Suboxone, Tramadol, marijuana and drug paraphernalia at two Huntsville homes, according to a statement issued Friday by Madison police.

Search warrants were served simultaneously Thursday at two residences in the 400 block of Old Jim Williams Road, Chief David Jernigan said in the statement.

The Street Crimes Unit and investigators arrested the following people on the following charges:

• Corey Allen Weaver, 34, Huntsville, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, warrants for two counts of bail jumping and two counts of failure to appear;

• Jason Patrick Cantrell, 42, Huntsville, possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Halee Brooklyn Mundy, 23, Huntsville, possession of drug paraphernalia;

• Christopher Allen Albright, 24, Hartselle, failure to appear;

• Keith Alan Yell, 52, Huntsville, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance;

• Matthew Todd Yell, 32, Huntsville, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance;

• Desiree Ann Rubino, 21, Harvest, failure to appear, two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of prescription medication and possession of drug paraphernalia; and

• Scott Robert Ledington, 51, Madison, possession of drug paraphernalia.

All were booked into the Madison County Jail.
