Lesha K. Jackson

Funeral for Lesha K. Jackson, 47, is at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Pastor Marcus Gilbert officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Ms. Jackson was born June 3, 1963, in Athens, to the union of Robert Jackson and Joanne Steele. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, aunt, sister-in-law, mother-in-law and friend, who loved her family, friends, and especially, the children. Lesha’s caring personality, radiant smile, engaging personality and devotion to all of us will be deeply missed. Eagerly awaiting her on God’s peaceful shore to welcome her home is her father, Robert Jackson.

Lesha leaves behind to cherish her life, her son, Eddie DaJuan (Siyeicea) Jackson. Her daughter, Tasha Jackson (Galvin Ervin), and mother, Joanne Steele; two sisters, Donna Kyle (Mike Kyle), and Jennifer Thompson (Randy); grandchildren, TeRay’Ja Drayton, Destiny Jackson, Jaylin Gurganious and Gabrielle Jackson; nieces, Tanesha Reedus (Travis Reedus), Kayla Kyle and Nikeyah Thompson; her faithful friend Max (her dog); and a host of cousins, extended relatives, and numerous friends.
