Man shot to death in Bessemer following fight

BESSEMER, Ala. (AP) — An Alabama man has died after a fight at a home ended with gunfire.

Al.com reported that 28-year-old Quinton Lamar Riddle was shot at a home in Bessemer around 7 p.m. Sunday.

Police say Riddle was visiting the home when another man came to the home and there was an argument. Shots fired outside the home struck Riddle, who was inside.

Riddle was taken to a local hospital where he died about an hour later.

Bessemer Police Chief Mike Roper said a person of interest has been identified after the person suffering from a gunshot wound showed up at a Birmingham hospital.

No arrests have been reported yet.
