Alabama, man, woman die after being found in wrecked car
DEMOPOLIS, Ala. (AP) — A man and woman in Alabama have died after they were found suffering from gunshot wounds in a wrecked car.
Demopolis police told news outlets that officers found the victims after being called to an intersection around 9 a.m. Sunday.
Police said two other men were hospitalized with gunshot injuries.
Police said 27-year-old Laderrus Gilbert and 24-year-old Jasmine Washington were taken to Bryan Whitfield Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Police think the two injured men, 21-year-old Anthony Collier and 26-year-old Tramaine Irby were in a nearby home when the shooting happened. They were taken to the hospital and were in stable condition under police guard.
Police have not discussed a possible motive. No arrests have been reported.
