Frances Kathleen Gee
The funeral for Frances Kathleen Gee, 71, of Athens, will be at 2 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Tim Anderson and Dwight Raburn officiating.
Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Gee died Saturday, April 15, 2006 at her residence. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Dwight Gee and wife, Melissa, Tim Gee and Anthony Gee and wife, Christie, of all of Athens; three daughters, Wanda Craig and husband Mike, Debbie Morris and Tammy Gee, all of Athens; mother, Nancy Pearl Adams, Athens; three brothers, Gilbert Adams, Elkmont, Billy Adams, Athens, Bobby Adams, Athens; two sisters, Linda Kyle and Charlotte Caldwell, both of Athens; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Joseph Houston Dugger
The funeral for Joseph Houston Dugger, 81, of Athens will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McConnell Funeral Home with Bud White officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Dugger died Monday, April 17, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital. He was born Aug. 8, 1924, in Limestone County to A.D. Dugger Sr. and Ola Ervin Dugger. He attended Carey Baptist Church, where he drove a church bus. He worked for White Motor Sales in Athens for many years. He owned and operated Dugger’s Mobile Home Service and later he and his late wife, Hilda Dugger, owned and operated the Yellow House Restaurant on Elkton Road. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Mr. Dugger was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Dugger and one granddaughter, Tammy Lee Townsend.
He is survived by one daughter, Peggy Gail Townsend of Athens; one grandson, Randall Houston Townsend of Elkmont; one granddaughter, Mandy Elizabeth Tinsley of Southside; two great-grandsons, Jamie Townsend and Josh Townsend, both of Elkmont; three brothers, James Dugger, A.D. Dugger Jr. and Billy Dugger, all of Athens; and five sisters, Margaret Lovell, Florence Bowen, Betty Wales and Dot Miller, all of Athens, and Edna Crutchfield of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Randy Townsend, Randall Townsend, Jerry Paul Tinsley, Steven Pack, Travis Sanders and Kenneth Clark.
