Limestone EMA asks residents to avoid damaged areas

The Limestone County Emergency Management Agency is asking residents to avoid areas where damage has been reported from Monday’s storms.

Downed trees and utility lines and structural damage has been reported in the following areas where first-responders are now working:

– Siniard and Vivians Road;

– Walnut Grove Road;

– Leggtown Road;

– Happy Hollow Road and Turkey Creek;

– Veto Road and Compton Road;

– New Bethel Road and Shipley Hollow Road;

– Pettusville Road;

– Upper Elkton Road;

– Bethel Road;

– Clem Road;

– Putnam Road;

– Thatch Road;

– Mooresville Road and Upper Fort Hampton Road;

– Mooresville Road and Sweet Springs Road;

– Alabama 251 between Gatlin and Pinedale roads;

– Alabama 251 and Valley Drive

– Oakgrove Road at Sweet Springs Road; and

– Gatlin Road and Mitchell Loop.
