Five Limestone County volunteer fire departments have been called to a major fire at a building off New Cut Road, east of Tillman Mill Road.

An emergency scanner report at 4:45 p.m. said the building is said to contain a recreational vehicle, cars and propane tanks.

Firefighters from Owens, Pleasant Grove, West Limestone, Tanner and Clements VFDs have been called to the scene.

Additional help, including fire apparatus, were requested at 5:55 p.m. along with law enforcement officers to provide traffic control in the area.

Motorists should stay clear of the area for safety and to allow firefighters to access the area.
