2 firefighters die while battling Ohio house fire; officials say they fell through floor

CINCINNATI (AP) — Authorities in Cincinnati say two firefighters have died while battling a house fire.

The crews had been fighting a blaze Friday at a home in Colerain Township when supervisors were unable to make contact with the two firefighters.

Officials say they found an unmanned hose, but the two firefighters were not there.

Fire Capt. Steve Conn says they apparently fell through the floor into the basement and were trapped.
