Gospel singing. Walnut Grove Community Church, 27600 Walnut Grove Road, Lester, will host a gospel singing featuring One Voice at 7 p.m. Friday, March 15. Food and fellowship will follow. Everyone welcome.

Gospel singing. Riddles Chapel United Methodist Church will host performances by The Dixie Echoes and One Voice starting 6 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at the church, 11327 Ripley Road, Athens. Admission is free, but an offering will be accepted. More information: 256-777-0351.

Food pantry. Full Gospel Tabernacle Community Christian Church will host a food pantry 4-7 p.m. Wednesdays at the church, 17470 Seven Mile Post Road, Athens. More information: Joseph Fifer, 256-262-3052.

Preschool registration. New Life Assembly of God at 16768 U.S. 72, Athens, is enrolling students for its child-development program. The program, for children ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten, is 6 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Anyone who recommends someone else is eligible for $25 off the first week’s tuition.
