More than 60 businesses and organizations have agreed to be a part of a job fair set for Thursday on the campus of Calhoun Community College, according to a press release.

The fair, hosted by the school’s Career Services department, is for current students, recent college graduates and the public. It will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and be in the foyer of the Sparkman building on the Huntsville campus.

Registered organizations include NASA, BASF, Redstone Federal Credit Union, Army & Air Force Exchange, Verizon Wireless, WAFF-48, Madison Police Department, Adtran, H&R Block, Decatur Utilities, Buffalo Rock, Belk-Parkway Place, Huntsville Police Department, Madison Fire & Rescue, Crestwood Medical Center, LOGZONE, Inc., Oral Arts Dental Laboratories, Polaris Industries and Martison & Beason PC.

Job-seekers are urged to have an updated version of their resume, research the organizations in advance and develop a short elevator speech to introduce themselves to potential employers. Some businesses may conduct onsite interviews.
