Bodies of father and son found day after they fell overboard
MOBILE (AP) — The Coast Guard says divers have recovered the bodies of an 82-year-old man and his 52-year-old son, a day after they fell from a boat into the Spanish River area just north of Mobile Bay.
Petty Officer Brandon Giles says Daphne Search and Rescue’s dive team found the bodies of Leo Scott and his son Fred Scott on Thursday.
A Coast Guard boat and helicopter, and seven crews from Daphne and three other agencies, participated in the search.
