Limestone man arrested on trafficking charge

A Limestone County man was arrested Wednesday after a search of a residence yielded cash, drugs and guns, according to a press release.

The Madison-Morgan County STAC team first served a warrant at a residence on Hotts Lane in Madison. The release said agents took 22-year-old Brandon Devon Davis into custody at the home.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency served a second warrant at Davis’ home at 15271 Tyler Mill Drive in Athens. Agents seized several firearms, 50 pounds of marijuana and $134,698 in cash.

The release said Davis’ arrest comes after a multijurisdictional investigation that spanned several months.

Following his arrest, Davis was taken to the Limestone County Jail. Bail had not been set as of Thursday afternoon.
