Caroline Baum

A memorial service for Caroline Baum, 54, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be at 5 p.m. Friday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Kirk Smith officiating and music by Bill Dickey.

Visitation will be from 4-5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Baum died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at her home.



Robert Glen Magnusson

The funeral for Robert Glen “Turk” Magnusson, 88, of Ardmore, Tenn., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with Phillip and Debbie Eubanks, the Rev. Lynn Marshall and Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-8 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Magnusson died Monday, Oct. 9, 2006, at Huntsville Hospital.



Bessie Mae Gatlin Whitt

The funeral for Bessie Mae Gatlin Whitt, 90, of Ardmore, will be at 11 a.m. today at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. William Suddarth officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.

Mrs. Whitt died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at her home.

She was born July 14, 1916, in Toney to Walter R. Gatlin and Georgia Daniel Gatlin. She lived all her life in this area. She was a member of Ardmore First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Myers, Homer and Leemon Gatlin, and one son, James Thomas Whitt.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Rich and husband Corny of Ardmore, Tenn., Amy Liveoak and husband Lt. Col. Felix Lee Liveoak Jr, of Athens; one daughter-in-law, Mary Whitt of Toney, eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two more on the way.

Pallbearers will be Lanny Rich, James Allen Whitt, Matt Prince, James McKinley, David Rich and Mack Thomas.
