Sisters accused of assaulting Jefferson Co. bus driver
CENTER POINT, Ala. (AP) — After a confrontation with a school bus driver in Alabama two adult sisters are facing charges.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Randy Christian tells local media 31-year-old Angela Davidson was arrested Wednesday on disorderly conduct and harassment charges. Deputies are still searching for her sister, Ashley Johnson.
Deputies responded Aug. 31 to a report of an assault in Center Point. An unnamed bus driver said he was finishing his route when two women approached him and started assaulting him. Christian says one of the women spit on the man through the driver’s side window and punched him in the side of the head.
Authorities say the women were upset that the bus stopped short of one of the women’s houses.
It’s unclear if the sisters have an attorney.
