In an impressive display of athletic talent and sibling camaraderie, three 11-year-old siblings from East Limestone Middle School qualified for the prestigious Amateur Athletics Union Junior Olympics Games.

Dhaleon, Divinity and Dhalmetri Eichelberger, all rising sixth graders, showcased their prowess in the regional qualifier, earning their spots in the national competition.

Dhaleon Eichelberger earned first place in three challenging events: the pentathlon, the 80-meter hurdles and the high jump. His versatility and determination marked him as a standout young athlete to watch in the future.

Not far behind, his sister, Divinity Eichelberger, demonstrated her speed and agility, clinching second place in the 80-meter hurdles. Divinity’s impressive performance highlighted her as one of the top young hurdlers in the region.

Their brother, Dhalmetri Eichelberger, also made a notable contribution by placing fifth in the high jump. His effort and dedication in this event reflected the competitive spirit shared by all three siblings.

The Eichelberger siblings’ achievements are a source of pride for East Limestone Middle School and their community, officials say: As they prepare to compete on a national stage, their story serves as an inspiration to other young athletes from the area.

“We are incredibly proud of Dhaleon, Divinity, and Dhalmetri,” Vicktory and Mere Eichelberger, parents of the three star athletes, said. “Their hard work and determination have paid off, and we are excited to see them represent the East Limestone community at the AAU Junior Olympics.”

The AAU Junior Olympics will take place in July in Greensboro, North Carolina, bringing together the best young athletes from across the country
