Madison counselor accused of sex with 2 students
A 28-year-old counselor at a private residential treatment facility in Madison is accused of having sex with two students, an official said Friday.
Madison police arrested Amanda Williams of Huntsville on two counts of a school employee engaging in sex with a student under age 19, according to a statement issued late Friday by Madison police spokesman Terrell Cook.
Williams is a counselor at Sequel Youth Services, also known as Sequel TSI, and Three Springs. Sequel TSI, near the Limestone County line, is a private residential treatment facility in Madison serving males assigned to the program by the state.
Police and the Alabama Department of Human Resources investigated allegations of the counselor engaging in sex acts with two male students at the facility.
Williams was arrested on warrants at the Madison Police Department and taken to the Madison County Jail. Bail is set at $10,000.
No other information about the students was available due to their ages.
