• Singer visits. Kavita Krishnamurthy, an Indian film playback singer who has recorded more than 18,000 songs in 16 languages over 30 years, will perform Friday, Oct. 12, at United Trinity Methodist Church, 607 Airport Road SW, Huntsville. HCCNA will host the event.
• Centennial finale. Alabama Fork CPCA will hold its centennial grand finale celebration 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Limestone County Event Center, Athens. Music by Babbie Mason; recognition of CPCA legacy leaders; heavy hors d’oeuvres served. More information: 256-340-4824.
