Students and staff at Athens Intermediate School surprised one special teacher who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer with a beautiful show of love and support. Mrs. Sharon Ham’s first oncology appointment was scheduled for Thursday and the school came together to show just how loved she is by all.

AIS students wore pink while teachers and staff wore specially designed shirts with Ham’s favorite bird, the hummingbird, a pink ribbon, and a special message– No one fights alone.
